🚨Pro Se Representation. “Pro se” is a Latin term that means “for oneself or on one’s own behalf.”
✅ When an immigrant proceeds before the Immigration Court without legal representation, it is said that they are proceeding “Pro se,” meaning they represent themselves.
“Pro se refers to self-representation in legal proceedings or before the court without a lawyer appearing or advocating on their behalf in court.” (This paragraph was taken from the PSPP website, where VIA is a member.)
On our YouTube channel, we share another video that explains in detail how to self-represent in case you cannot find a lawyer.
Please do not miss any of your hearings, supervision appointments, or any of your Immigration appointments.
