Since its founding, VIA has been dedicated to promoting programs, informative activities, and orientation sessions in all areas of interest for the Venezuelan displaced people, giving them the tools they need to empower, adapt and thrive in New York City in the most effective and smoothest way possible.

Many of VIA’s resources and programs are based in New York City, however, VIA can certainly work with displaced people and asylum seekers across the US who are eager to benefit from our totally free programs.

Legal Orientation

This program provides information and guidance and connects migrants with resources of interest relating to migratory options for permanent legal residency in the US most effectively and smoothly possible.

Emotional Support and Wellbeing

Peer support group "Soporte Entre Pares". This program, a flagship of VIA, provides care and emotional support initiatives for the displaced Venezuelan community.

Humanitarian Assistance

«Dando una mano» (Giving a hand in English) is a Welcome Charitable Giving Program that provides Food, Transportation and/or Clothing aid to Venezuelan forced migrants in conditions of extreme vulnerability.

Given our mission, we have developed several programs to support our community. Our goal is to strengthen our assistance programs concerning humanitarian and legal assistance, emotional support, English language learning, cultural orientation, health & educational systems.
